Die Struck lapel pins are beautiful option for a high class looking pin. Die struck pins are the same process as soft enamel die struck but without the use of enamel or color. The pins are then plated with gold, nickel, bronze or copper to give the pins the overall look you desire. Often all-metal die struck pins use a sandblasting process to create a textured background while the raised metal areas are highly polished giving a mirror-like appearance. Another option is to use an antiquing process which allows the raised and recessed areas to stand out and have high contrast.
